Taking a Summer Break . . .

I'm way behind on some of my non-sewing projects, so I'll be taking a break from sewing and blogging here for a few weeks to try and catch up.

There are a couple of projects in progress that I'll wrap up this week and after a few weeks off I hope to be back here on a regular basis around Labor Day.

This photo has nothing to do with taking a break . . . I just didn't want to post another words-only entry!

This New York City Skyline is from a counted cross stitch kit and was stitched around 1989. I don't know who the designer is, but the kit was available in 2003 from The Stitchery catalog (I don't have any other information and no longer have the chart for it). This is the first piece I ever had professionally framed; it used to be displayed in Rich's office at work, but since he changed jobs its been waiting for a new spot.
