Teaser - Elora's Birthday Gift

Our niece, Elora is turning 11 years old on November 21. Last year, I made her a Lazy Girl Designs Chelsea Tote Bag. This year I made something else using her favorite color. I'm not revealing the finished item just yet (just in case her mom lets her read my blog before Thanksgiving) but here's a little tease about the "ingredients" I used.

First, the fabrics (from the Home Dec section at JoAnn Fabrics):

Mix in a few rayon threads:

Add a little binding:

Finally, a pinch of personalization:
